World Wide Web

I think the world wide web will continue growing in a better way. The reason why the world wide web is growing is because many companies are competing with each other and try to come up with something that's better and more advance. For example. the article Yahoo Wants Back in the Search Game talks about Yahoo planning to return to the search market with their own search engine. With all these companies competing and the new services and products they come up, it benefits the users the most. The user can chose the one they prefer.
Clouding computing means programs can access locally and also anywhere with connected computers. it s the ability to run programs or applications on many connected computers at the same time. The cloud refer to software that are sold as service.

  1. I agree. I think that competition always was and always will be a good thing for the World Wide Web. We now see more competition than ever before. Cloud is our future. I hope that companies won't charge us too much for using their cloud services.

  2. I believe that competition is a great thing for us. I believe that the cloud, being a compliment to locally saving things, is going to be a great success. Everyone will use it one way or another. You should check out the article that says the City of Chicago is starting to switch some of its' employees to the cloud network. I hope that the cloud is a free service because then it will limit the amount of people who will use it. I surely won't pay for something online when I can have the same thing in a flashdrive.

  3. I completely agree that competition is the driving force for the World Wide Web. Also I wouldn't worry so much about cloud servers costing money; Google Drive offers 15 GB of storage for free.
